Hi, I am from S.Korea, working in the video production business with many years of experience. I am currently working on a project with a small Canadian production team, and I was wondering if it is possible for a small Canadian company to sponsor a work permit/PR and hire me to come on to the Canadian team.

Thank you

They can certainly try. The will have to start by offering you a full time job in Canada. Next they will need to advertise your job for a month to prove they couldn't find a Canadian for the role (following the LMIA advertising requirements). Last they will need to apply for the LMIA and hope it will be approved. If the LMIA is approved, you can then apply for a work permit.
