There can mostly general labour jobs paying between $12-13/hr or more if night shift. Manpower is such a company which can provide you with survival jobs, otherwise restaurant and cafeteria jobs are there as waiting staff, the pay is same or less - Jobbank is the best website for newcomers to look for these jobs, as the employers seriously are willing to employ newcomers - you can check they have a lot of different job options like sales staff, call centre jobs etc.

There are different spheres where it's easy to find a job: sales associate, call centers, customer service representative, cashier, gas station attendant, office clerk, delivery person, cleaner, factory and warehouse positions, taxi driver or data entry operator. What are you interested in?
One of the ways to find a survival job in Canada is to contact an employment agency that will meet your needs.
By law, employers cannot pay less than the minimum wage established by the province where you live.

I cannot say what particular agency to choose as there are a lot of them. But what I can advise is to google them, and to find as many as possible comments and feedbacks from clients. So you will be able to decide whether that agency is reliable or not. Moreover, you can find a job on such resources as indeed or monster and so on. IT sphere provides a lot of possibilities for developing and the demand for IT specialists is rather high all over the world. So I'm sure that it will be easy for you to find not only survival job but also a permanent position with good salary.
P.s. Don't forget about a freelance job possibility! It can also be an additional earning.

I am the principal applicant in the express entry and I was given some codes to open job bank which I did. I've had several job offers. The problem is that I do not know how my wife can open her job profile too. She needs the job more than I do. How do you think she can open her own profile. Thank

Quick question, are this job offers real? And were you in Canada when you applied?
