Verifying education credentials

Hi all,

I am applying for express entry, through CEC as I have now reached 12 months experience in Canada....I have previously applied through Spousal sponsorship, but this method seems quicker....anyway...

I am about to have my education verified. Do I needHigh School as well as University qualifications verified? I would be unable to attend university without a high school diploma, so would just the university qualifications be sufficient?

Also, if anyone knows....I am an on a open work permit that I received when I applied for spousal sponsorship. The downside of this is I am not supposed to leave Canada. Would I still be eligible for the bridging open work permit? And if so, does the open work permit get canceled if I received a BOWP? Or will I just have 2 visas?

No, you don't need your high school diploma verified. It is only required for post secondary/university education.

I think you should get only highest degree assessed.
Express entry under CEC category has three stages. Firstly, you have to make your profile at this stage you need IELTS score and education degree assessed. Secondly, if your score is good enough, then CIC will send the invitation to apply (ITA). At this stage, you need to upload all your documents. And if your documents are okay, typically in 1-2 months you can apply for BOWP. BOWP is open work permit. You may be eligible for a bridging open work permit if your work permit will expire in four months or less.
