Urg: Advice Needed

Hi ALL!
I need some urgent advice.
I am on a PGWP in Canada and I got my ITA under Express Entry recently. I have scheduled my medical exam for July. I have a question.
I had an accident around 10 years back and developed a blood clot and since then I am on blood thinners. A chest x ray shows remnants of clots. However, not every one takes blood thinners for such a long term. My case requires me to take blood thinners permanently. I am not sure whether to let the doctor know about this or not during the medical exam.
In parallel, I also met specialist doctors (chest and blood specialist-referred by my family doctor) in Canada couple of months back who advised me to undergo some tests and then told me that I will have to continue on blood thinners permanently.
Cost of blood thinners is around $ 100 /month and I am covered under health insurance plan for prescription drugs as part of my employment benefits. Please advice whether I should declare this to the doctor or not. I am afraid that despite the cost being less than substantial definition of $6000/annum, I may be refused permanent residency in Canada.
Thanks!
