TRV applied in July 2017 (India). Share your time line

Hi
I have applied for TRV on 7th july at chandigarh visa office. Till date i have only received 1 sms from VFS regarding forwarding of my file to canadian embassy on 10th july. After that heard nothing from canadian embassy.
Pl share ur timeline if you also have applied for TRV in july month.

Do paper based applicants also get emails regarding updation of application? Any idea?

Applied by paper on July 6th at VFS Chennai. Received email about having received application immediately.

Received email about my application being forwarded to the Canada Visa Office in Bangalore on July 7th. No more emails since then.

My tracking says it's still being processed.

Very anxious.

Same here. I just got sms from VFS n no email. After that nothing new till date.

My timelines -

Applied online July 4th
Application Confirmation July 5th
Update emails on July 6th 7th
Passport request July 18th

Going to submit PP :D.

Even after 15 days, i have not received any email regarding mt TRV application. So no UCI number. So i am not able to link my paper based application with my account.
Frustrating....

Same here. I feel like my entire life is on hold because I need to know if I'm getting the visa or not.
