My boyfriend of 2 years lives in Lebanon, he had submitted a temporary visitors visa to come and visit me in Canada for 2 weeks,
his visa was rejected on the grounds of :
Family Ties
Travel History
He has no family here in Canada and has never traveled out of his country Lebanon.
Needless to say we were devastated as we were sure he would be granted the visa for the visit, we followed all proper procedures
such as :
Letter of invite
Proof of family ties in Lebanon
A return ticket back to Lebanon ,once his visit was completed
Proof of funds in his bank account
Proof of residence to stay while visiting in Canada
We, didnt put we were boyfriend and girlfriend as there is no request on the forms to do so.
we ask anyone for their help in telling us what steps we can now take?
Can we apply again perhaps under a study permit, or as other!?
If anyone can help us please do so, we are out of ideas and feel that perhaps we should have gone a different route regarding the temporary visa.
