Study permit application from France

Hi

I'd like to hear from anyone who is applying or has applied for study permit from France.

I'm wondering if they do keep to the 2 week processing time stated on the CIC website. I submitted my application on 1st May and have not any updates. According to processing time stated, I should have a decision by Monday 16th. Do the public holidays in France affect the processing time? And when they say 2 weeks is that 14 working days?

I'm a bit paranoid they are going to ask me to do a medical because I lived and worked as a healthcare worker in West Africa for a number of years, even though it's been 18 months since I left.

Hi people!

I am going to apply for a visitor visa for studying in Ontrio (coz my study program lasts less than 6 months) while my uncle is also lIving in the same city. So I wonder to know if I need to mention this in my application form. What would be the impact of putting or skipping this information on my visa application?
