Hello,

I and my husband applied for express entry and till now we have 351 ( my husband is primary and i'm the spouse ). My husband received a job offer and it's waiting for the LMIA.
After he receives it can I apply for an open work permit as the spouse? Or how can I receive a work permit as well so I can come to Canada and work till we receive the PR.

It depends what sort of LMIA it is. If it's a dual intent LMIA that allows him to apply for a work permit and if the job is NOC A, B or 0 - then you can apply for an spousal open work permit. Note there is no guarantee the work permit will be approved.

@scylla
The LMIA is for Express Entry section "Intended work in Canada" as an available job offer. This should be applied for work permit too.
The NOC 2173 Software engineers and designers type A

Also I wanted to ask:
- If my husband is moving to Canada to work, can I go with him as a visitor? Or there is another way to go with him?
- Can I apply for a spousal open work permit from Canada or do I need to be in my native country
- If my husband has the express entry application with me as the spouse can I create another one with me as primary so I can start looking for a job in Job back? Can I do this from Canada?
