Hi! Last year my family and I did a short landing in Canada. We spent about 2-3 weeks in the country before we returned home. During that visit in order not to become Canadian tax residents we avoided opening Canadian bank accounts, didn't apply for health card, driving license etc.
This year we did another short trip to Canada for about 10 day and we also plan one extra trip for a week before Christmas. While in Canada we stay in hotels, as we have no other place to live. Is it ok, or will these 2-3 short trips somehow make us Canadian tax residents?
