Bonvista is the applicant.

Hi friends,

I have also send a query to them last week. My time frame is full documents send in May 2010, 2nd AOR recd in july 2010. Yesterday they reply me below:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

Yours sincerely,

My sympathies for pre-June-26 applicants who get these confusing standard replies from CHC London. I know it must be very frustrating.

I know for a fact that London are issuing medical requests and PPR for some pre-June-26 applicants because of a British forum I belong to. Two or three PPRs were issued only last week, in fact, for pre-June-26 London applicants.

So I think this standard reply is similar to the "You'll hear within 33 weeks" rubbish that CIO told us last year, when the reality was that we heard within 16 weeks from CIO with confirmation of eligibility. In fact nowadays it's only 8 weeks from CIO.

I am just trying to say that just because CHC are saying "We can't tell you when we will be able to process your application" it does not mean they will not process it this year.

Wayne.

I would like to hear from someone who sent an e mail enquiry to CHC London and did not get any reply. I have sent several enquiries already to London, like 4 times. I got standard replies from them on my first 4 e mails. I did not get any reply from them the 5th time I sent an inquiry but instead a medical request was received 2 weeks after that. Anyone who did not get any reply? Thanks.

Hi Aspire,
Your time line is similar to mine even though not from the same visa office, but i have not received medicals. I ordered Caips and my BF'D date was 22.1.2011, still to receive medicals.

Hope to hear from them soon.

Cheers.

Think of something that could force them to open your file. Did you submit any original document? If you did then ask them to return the original docs. or give them any update like change of work, change of address..Try that, it will work...the next time you hear from them is your medical request..Did you ask for your status through case specific inquiry? Try it too..

I am having an impression that if an action is required in response to an enquiry, one would not get any quick reply as the querry is being forwarded to the VO responsible for the file. The next time you will hear from them is an upadate like meds or PPR. If files are on que for an officer's review, standard replies are being sent. So, for those who are not getting any replies within 48 hours from the time an enquiry is sent, then expect a positive update of your file soon...Just a piece of thought to erase the boredom of waiting...
