Shall my family lose MSP coverage ?

Dears

I need urgent help from you. I shall land in Vancouver next week. I will stay there for one month and will then return. My family (wife and kids) will stay there. This means I shall not be in Canada for more than six months. My question is that shall my family lose MSP coverage due to the reason that I shall lose it as I shall not be in Canada for more than six months in a year? Your reply will be much appreciated

The best thing you can do is to call and / or email BC Health Ministry office directly and ask them about it.

I don't think your entire family would lose the coverage. Since you won't be a resident, your wife and kids shall apply for their MSP and you should wait until you decide to live here at least 6 months a year.
