@Andy Thanks for your prompt response but I was wondering whether your think that this letter looks appropriate for NOC 2171? It seems like you've applied under the same NOC code so please share your views. Thanks!

Hi,
I was wondering if you need to specify your salary and other benefits in the reference letter?? I think all those details will be there in the offer letter, right??

Please use IMM5610E (document checklist) as your bible! Follow everything or whatever it says!!! Most of all they never asked for offer letter. I think it's not necessary

These are the lines quoted in IMM5610E:

Letters must include all of the following information:

the specific period of your employment with the company,

the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time spent in each position,

your main responsibilities and duties in each position,

your total annual salary plus benefits,

the number of hours worked per week.

They are all NOT needed. Providing these seems a little too extreme. However, wait for comments from seniors

I agree with Vijay, if there is one thing that I have learned from my years of traveling is to not to send out what's not needed or not required.
Just send out what's on the checklist and be done with it.

Yes they get very annoyed, especially when us INDIANS are known to over do it (even with our spices!) lol
