hello francaise

i am sending u the proper guide of quebec skilled worker program and how they give points

http://www2.publicationsduquebec.gouv.qc.ca/dynamicSearch/telecharge.php?type=7&file=GPI-3-1.pdf

@ mkShah : It's an advice for you that ask your wife to learn french up to level b1 and you also go up to level b1 so that you will get (your b1level)8+(your wife level b1)8=16pts. if he clears delf level b1 then he will get 4listening+4speaking and if he clear delf b2 then he will get 6 + 6 = 12 points and if he clears c1 or c2 then he will get 8+8 = 16. you are talking about his wife if she clear delf a1 or a2 then she will get 2 points all together for listening and speaking and if she clear delf b1 or b2 then she will get 4 all together maximum is 6 marks for french if she clears c1 or c2 so she cant claim 8 points from french. I am telling you because it's quite a hard to reach up to level c1 within a year but not impossible. I am also part of alliance francaise and it takes 2 years or more than 2 years for a person to reach level c1. If you and your wife choose to go up to level b1 and you achieve your points in a year.

One more thing, you did B.com from India. IT's bachelor of commerce and it's for 3 years if i am not wrong. For bachelor, they give 10 points.as per indian Bachleor degree they gives 6 point so u can check on the link above

Bachelor of Arts, Commerce, Science, etc. (programme de 3 ans)
Universitaire 6 points http://www2.publicationsduquebec.gouv.qc.ca/dynamicSearch/telecharge.php?type=7&file=GPI_3_1_INDE.pdf

you can verify it on given below link :

Hi francaise,
thanks buddy for your support, I am really very happy because this forum is very supportive and you friends are like jewels..

Just to correct, my education is Master of Science (Applied Chemistry) completed in year 2000 and my spouse's education is B.Com. completed in year 2005.
So on the basis of my master degree, how many total points I will get?

Hi friends,
after your support esp from stillhope and francoise, I calculate my points:
Age: 32 years 16 points I am principal applicant
education: M.Sc. (Applied Chemistry) in May-2000.12 points
Area of Training: 0 for area of training, because related work exp is not in last 5 years.
Total work exp: 10 years; 5 years asPharmaceutical Sales Rep from Oct-2000 to Nov-2005.(dont know NOC code for this job) and Insurance Sales Manager from Mar-2006 to May-2007.
Training Officer (trainer): May-2007 till date. (NOC code:4131) 8 points
IELTS: Overall 7.0. Speaking 7.5, writing: 7. 6 points
Enrolled for French classes A1 level (Alliance Francoise) now. I will try to clear b2 level. 6 points.

Wife age: 26 years 3 points
Wife Edu: Bachelors. Commerce in year 2005. 3 points
Area of Training: 2 points because she has work exp in 5 years of education.
work exp: Accounts Assistant from 2006 to mid 2009
English: very basic level, no points
French: she can clear delf. 2 points

Total:
My points: 16+12+0+8+6 = 42 without french and + 6 =48 with french upto b2 level.
My spouse: 3+3+2+0=8 without french and +2 = 10 with french upto a1 level.
Financial self-sufficiancy: 1 points.
Over-all points: 48+10+1 = 59 points.

So I can claim 59 points as per this calculatoin.

StillHope,

Do we have to submit "Request for an Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec (comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec" form along with the main form?

Sayeed

it depends on all factors like your qualification, age ,exp, degree and same with your wife. no body can tell u unless they will check your whole details. but if your points are enough to qualify then your a2 is also good but quebec is french speaking province so learning french is good.

have u did prelementry evalution

If u pass a1 then tick 1-2 on the form
If u pass a2 then tick 3-4 on the form
If u pass b1 then tick 5-6 on the form
If u pass b2 then tick 7-8 on the form

so its depends what level of french u want and how much points u have

i got my aor after 4 months but from hk peoples received their aor with in 1-2 months
and depend upon the study i have mba so which is not in priority so thats why it took long
one of cousin who have M.SC in Chemistry he received direct interview in under 3 months.
so every thing is depends upon case to case and visa offices.
