PR Card Expiry Date and RO

Hi Everyone, I made a short landing back in May 2015. Got my PR Card which has an expiry date of Aug 2020. Wanted to confirm the residency obligation period; keeping in view the expiry date, what would be my RO starting date: Aug 2015 or May 2015?

The start date for RO is always the date of landing

PR card expiry date is irrelevant to complying with the residency obligation requirements. Don't get confused by it.
