Did your GCMS note say anything about BG check? I also applied on July 13, 2016 and passed my medicals in August 2017.

I can't believe this. I submitted my application September 10th 2017(express entry) and My medical passed today. It says that We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.. In the mean time I uploaded my medical to Regular PNP PR(august 31st applicant) as well. Still no update there.
Are you in 2 different streams? I thought this was not possible/allowed?
Anyone here has any insights into this?

I asked OINP officer a couple of years ago. You certainly can apply for different programs if there is no conflict. e.g., it is totally OKay under one provincial program and one federal program.

But applying under provincial programs of different provinces is not acceptable, these provinces will all reject you cuz you cannot demonstrate clear intention to live in either of them. You cannot live in 2 provinces at the same time.
