Hi,

My husband signed a peace bond few days back which will expire next year. We have already applied for PR (online under Express Entry) under CEC. Any idea whether or not this would affect PR decision?

Domestic assault charges. Charges are dismissed after signing the peace bond
I would consult with a lawyer. This is going to come up during security / background checks. There may be inadmissibility considerations.

If the charged does not lead to conviction then would there still be a possibility of inadmissibility ?

Siging peace-bond does not count as conviction and is not inadmissible.. you will be fine don't worry.

More than the PR application I think you should first focus on the Criminal charges and make sure you have them withdrawn if possible, it can be done in few ways consult a lawyer. And signing a peace bond by itself doesn't make you inadmissible unlike a conviction. You application might get delayed until your criminal charge has an outcome.
