Today i received RPRF receipt dated. 07-04-2011...
Friends, usually how much time does CHC take to send PPT's back with visa after RPRF receipt delivery.

Guys,

In order to fight with my anxiousness I have decided not to check my eCas status this week.. so wouldnt be having any updates to share with you friends.. Untill and unless I am lucky enough to receive call from my consultant..

Anyways Good Luck to all thread members here.. May god bless us all with visa soon..

it's friday in india....long weekend and less chances that chc nd is going to do any updates on e-cas...lets hope that saturday brings the good news/updates for people who are waiting in the queue from chc nd via e-cas or from the mailman

Friends, usually how much time does CHC take to send PPT's back with visa after RPRF receipt delivery.

When did you send the RPRF to NDVO? Just trying to estimate how long it took to encash.
Could you also tell how you received the receipt? What does your eCAS read now?

Hi IYNGR_75,

I sent RPRF & PPT on 31.03.2011 @ 7 PM IST through BlueDart. The same has been delivered on 01.04.2011 @ 9:30 AM. My consultant received my RPRF receipt on 18th April 2011 with no date on letter. But the receipt dated. 07.04.2011 [Exactly one week to en-cash]

I got the RPRF receipt through Regd Post [from my consultant]. I don't know how my consultant got it, but i found in forum that CHC send through REGD POST/ SPEED POST only.

My eCAS is In Porcess [Since 13-12-2010] - Inside [Your application was reviewed and we started processing on December XX, 2010.]

Rocking, Bugslife. Guess your passport with Visa is en route as well.

I sent my RPRF to my consultant who sent it to NDVO after my medicals, but I sent my passports by speed post separately after around a week of finising my medicals. Though its more than a week since my RPRF should have reached the VO, going by your dates, the RPRF receipt reached your consultant only after 18 days, so my RPRF should also have been encashed (assuming all is well with my meds and other stuff - all fingers crossed!) and I will have to wait for another week or so till I start chasing my consultant.

My application is in process and my passport is going to expire on 01 May 2011. So, I requested NDVO to return my passport ASAP. I got my passport couple of days back. I am trying to take tatkaal appointment to get a new one. So, I can send it back to NDVO as soon as possible. Please share your views???

Sandeep,

You may get the renewed passport withing a week or at max 10 days if you go for tatkal..

Also better to have PCC on your new passport (though according to few members it is OK to go without PCC), but why take chance.. it will add few days, you can explain them your situation and request to expedite the process so that you can avail PCC in couple of days..

I personally committed mistake, as my passport was renewed and I didnt send the PCC of my new passport..

BTW how much time ND VO has given you to submit the new passport?

You can inquire with the bank about your DD en-cash status.. I went to bank last week and confirmed that my DD has been en-cashed. This week i received Receipt. I found somewhere written by quorax that en-cashing the DD is 99.9% success case for visa. Hope everything goes smooth. Hope your visa is also printed or might be dispatched yesterday.

I pray god on behalf of all the beloved forum members here for their successful process. Because simply if i depend on the consultant i might have gone mad as of now by waiting in the midnight where no light and no way & info.... Really this forum is very much helpful. Cheers
