Hi,

I am applying for an OWP, but, after my medical examination, the CIC request information regarding Chron's disease, a condition that I have.
After almost three weeks, I have received the procedural fairness letter, informing that my medication, Humira, is too expensive.
Now I have to send a mitigation plan in order to avoid Canadian public health costs.
Does anyone have the same situation?
Does anyone have an example of this letter?
Does anyone has applied for private health insurance in Canada with a pre-existent condition?

Thank you so much.

I had ulcerative colitis diagnosed back in 2002, I have been in remission for over 15 years and used only mesalazine 3x500mg per a day. I was nominated and will be going to medical exam soon. I was wondering about your medical exam process, how was it? Were you asked to take colonoscopy or something else? What kind of documents did you submit to CIC? if Could you share your experiences I would be glad. Thank you.

Mesalazine is a relatively cheap medicine, their only concern is with expensive ones. Don't worry.

No, just a medical report.
I see brother. Where did you get this medical report, from your own specialist or a designated specialist by CIC? Could you also mention the content of the medical exam, what were pointed out in it?
Thanks a lot.

Hello sir,

I have applied Open Work Permit inside the Canada in July 10, 2017 but still waiting for the decision on it. Now September 14th 2017 over no update on it. I have seen that now processing time reduced to 14th week as earlier it was 16th week. Please advice what to do? How much time CPC Vegreville will take more?
