MPNP Application 2012

I have completed all my documents and will be applying for MPNP General stream next month. I have all the documents translated in English except my ID Card, but have my Passport in English. I want to ask that is this necessary to translate our ID Card even if my passport is in English.?

Everything you are providing should be in English & if not then you have to provide notarized photocopy of ID cards & notarized translation of it from certified translator.

I get my NIC translated from a translator near Lahore High Court as I reside in Lahore. I even provided his affidavit too as it is a requirement of CIO,Nova Scotia to attach certified photocopy of doc, its translation & affidavit of translator.

I've been reading a lot from this forum since I was applied for MPNP Family Stream by my father. And all of your stories have been very helpful. With this i would like to share to all of you my application timeline

Jan 10 2011 - MPNP application hand delivered
May 2012 - Additional Doc requested (ielts)
July 2012 - IELTS result sent
Sept 19 2012 - Sponsor's interview
Oct 10 2012 - LOA recieved dated Sept 23,2012
Nov 8, 2012 - Documents to CIO Nova Scotia
Nov 14, 2012 - Documents delivered as confirmed by courier.
Now waiting for AOR

I hope this information will help others track their application as well.

Why it took more than a year before they ask for additional docs?

The form is for my dependent common law partner which was asked from me as additional document. Regarding the bank statement, yes I did attach it in the online application. But they may still ask you for the latest bank statements a week or two before approving your application.
