My brother applied for mpnp, and I "his sister" is supporter of him.
I have family here, I don't work but my husband works and earns good income for last three years in Manitoba.
Now my brother got a letter to provide additional documents as below:
Supporter’s Proof of Residence - You have claimed regional migration to Selkirk, MB and we need documented proof that your Supporter, lives and works in Selkirk. Please submit your Supporter’s tenancy contract, proof of employment (letter or pay slips for the past 3 months), driver’s license, and utility bills (hydro, water and phone bills).
As per supporters requirements of mpnp there is no clause that he/ she should be working.
How can I submit my income or should I do submit my husbands paystubs etc.

please advice.
thanks
hello malisa
i think you are okay to submit your husband's paystubs and also you should submit any other documents that proof you are residing in MB e.g PR card, driver's licence etc. But in the first place, your husband should have sponsored your brother"s application since he is a close relative to him. Just as you said there is no clause that says a supporter should be working since you are not expected to be responsible financially to him.

Hi, i just want to ask regarding MPNP draw... Is it possible for me to include in the MPNP draw eventhough my ranking score is at 404? I already submitted my EOI and my waiting game is just started. I'm hoping for some response.
Yes it is, Since you already submitted, you are already in the draw. Might i say 404 is a really low point from my experience, are you inland or overseas?

PROVINCE IMPROVES SERVICE STANDARDS, RENEWS PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM
– – –
Helping Attract Skilled Workers, International Students Seeking Careers in Manitoba: Wishart

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) applicants will now benefit from improved service standards, Education and Training Minister Ian Wishart announced today at an event highlighting renewed directions for the immigration program.
“We are pleased to implement higher service standards for applicants to restore the integrity of this important pathway to permanent residence in Manitoba,” said Wishart. “As of this month, all candidates who submit complete applications to the program will be processed in six months or less.”
Wishart noted the MPNP is an economic immigration program designed to attract job-ready skilled workers and active investors in Manitoba’s economy. This program has been a valued part of the immigration system since 1998, but in April 2016 a backlog of more than 5,100 applications had compiled, some dating as far back as 2013, he added.
Thanks to efforts over the last six months, the backlog has now been cleared, Wishart confirmed and noted that less than 70 files from prior years remain in process as the program awaits documents from applicants in accordance with fairness and integrity provisions. The minister also highlighted several features of the renewed program.
Due to Manitoba’s success in attracting international students seeking to build careers and become permanent Canadian residents, the minister confirmed the MPNP will include new pathways, supported by partnerships with post-secondary institutions that will encourage international students to choose training programs leading to in-demand jobs. Wishart noted over 11,000 international students from 125 countries study in Manitoba annually and expanded outreach initiatives will encourage those interested to pursue careers and settle in this province.

In addition, a new online resource that will include an in-demand jobs list will be updated regularly according to provincial labour market analysis and real-time labour market information from industry groups and training partners. The list will help prioritize invitations to apply from the Expression of Interest pool based on whether the candidate has in-demand occupational skills, is currently employed in Manitoba or has a high potential for employment. The minister noted the new resource will be published once approval is received from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), in accordance with the Canada Manitoba Immigration Agreement.
“Better information sharing and openness will improve service for applicants and ensure the respectability of this program moving forward,” said Wishart. “Our new online resource will include priority areas such as increased francophone and regional immigration.”
In recognition that community connections help newcomers successfully settle in the province, the program will continue providing additional points to applicants with close family ties in Manitoba who are able to demonstrate employable skills. The minister also confirmed, in response to community feedback, the MPNP will no longer consider having a close relative in a different province or territory as a risk factor and subtract points from applicants on this basis.
Manitoba’s labour market forecast projects approximately 170,000 job openings in the province between now and 2022, with demand spread across multiple sectors including manufacturing, finance, services, trades and transportation, agri-business and information technology. At least 25 per cent of projected job-openings are expected to be filled by immigrants, the minister said.

i had applied Manitoba PNP in 2016 july and got and approval few days ago, they requested me to submit FSW application, can some one just guide me how can i get document checklist, what is the photo size, police clearance and medical are needed. Its paper based application i am so confused.
if they advised you to submit FSW(Federal skilled worker stream), you should do the express entry which is online and you get 600 points for nominee, so you are definitely getting LAA on the next draw. Again that's just a suggestion

The MPNP will begin charging a non-refundable $500 fee for skilled workers effective 9:00 a.m. CST May 15, 2017.

The MPNP Online application system will not be available May 14th, 2017 in order to complete technical changes.

Yes it is, minimum point to enter draw is 60. However in my experience, i have never seen a draw with that low of a minimum point not to burst your bubble, im just saying.

What are prospect chances for international students from other provinces.I studied in Ontario and I am thinking of moving to Winnipeg, but I am really confused whether to go for it or not. Here in Ontario it is impossible for me to secure PNP as I would not qualify,my family friend suggested me to move to Winnipeg.
Is the job have to be highly skilled? No
Is it have to be under only one emplyer? Yes, and you have to be there for a minimum of 1yr and Fulltime
Please help suggest anything extra you would think helpful. if you decide to move to winnipeg, what's the duration of expiry on your work permit, it is advisable as Manitoba PNP is easier.
Thanks.
