Messaging around background check different for CEC?

I've done some searching for this, but it's a little unclear. Does CIC use different messaging for the background check stages if you're applying under CEC?

My background check went straight to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." after my Medicals were passed. Normally this would look like IP2, but would make more sense for me to be at IP1 right?

I think it's the new trend..I got the same message as well right after medicals passed since Aug 16 and it has not changed since then. I think it is IP1...

Hey guys! I am FSW inland. I also got the same BG status right after Medicals were passed and I am confused if I am at IP 1 or IP 2. Could you please let me know that how did your BG status change after this message?
