hi ppl,
After a year , im back to this forum to complete my wife s Application...so excited because this is a place for all those who need help and the people who reply are just amazing based on their experiences..

So i have been on PR since 2016 in canada, i got married in feb 2017 in INDIA, and i have returned to canada and my wife is in india now...
Now can anyone please advice on the spousal sponsorship process ? Do i have to apply from my cic account or my wife has to create a new account and start an application?
Also , is is same like wat i have done for my PR ? like applying and uploading all docs online in My Cic Account? or do i need to send as paper application?
If i need to send an application in india , where do i need to send? she lives in Bangalore..

Also , kindly let me know of any tips and tricks before i submit my application like income, relationship,medical, police clearances etcc or any other relevant info i need to consider before i apply??

Hi Guys,

I am sponsoring my wife for spousal visa outside canada class. As per doc check list, she has to submit the Birth Certificates of family member, even if they are not accompanying her. Now, there is no birth certificate for her dad and mom. Her dad has aadhar card and passport but her mom only has aadhar card?

How can we work this out? Please help.

Hi guys,

My application was returned because I put my mailing address (sponsor) as my husband's mailing address (applicant) without adding the form use of a representative. I have resent the application yesterday with the form. the application was received January 19th and it was only returned to me February 22nd. Hoping for a fast process.

Hi, I'm a newbie here. I'm a Canadian Citizen currently living in Philippines with my Filipino husband. We sent his application via DHL courier on March 7th, and hoping to receive it tomorrow. However, this comment here made me wonder if I also did a same mistake. Since I'm currently living here in Philippines, I put my Philippine address for my mailing address, and I put my Canadian address for my residential address. But I also informed CIC through answering one of the forms that I'm coming back in Canada on April 24th. Now, I wonder if they will also return my husband's application because of my plan to return to Canada on April 24th?

Hopefully, someone could help me to clarify this. Thanks in advance!
