Hello guys,

We have a cat and she is coming with us to Canada. She is always travelling with us, so hopefully she'll be fine considering the long flight. We are travelling from Spain, and she has EU PET passport, microchip, de-worm stamps, rabies vaccines, and reports from vets inside . As we used to live in Belgium until Dec 2016, her last rabies vaccine was done in December, in Belgium, and it's valid for another 3 years (if I'm not wrong). I read the information provided by border control on importing cats, but still will appreciate if you have any insights on this or relevant experience.
So my question is, should we prepare other documents for her? Should we visit a vet to provide a document like a health certificate stating that the vaccine is valid?
What else to expect at border control?

Thanks in advance!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I brought my new pup from New York to Canada in July. Only health certificate is needed because he's underage. As instructed by the airline, I had to wait and escort the pup and cage for TSA security clearance. After they were satisfied, they put the pup in the plane directly and I proceeded to the boarding gate. Upon landed Canada, went through immigration, I collected my pup and drove back home.

Veterinarian here, though not sure of the travel laws from mainland Europe as I'm based in the UK.

As long as your EU pet passport is up to date (which is seems it is), all you'd need is a health certificate from your veterinarian a few weeks before you travel stating that all the documentation is correct, vaccines are all valid and up to date and that the cat is fit for travel
