Investing in US stocks

I currently have a US brokerage account. Should I close it before I land or can I keep it for investing even after the landing?

I see Canada also offer US stock investing (e.g HSBC), how do they differ from a US brokerage account?

Any different in tax implications whether the account is kept in the US or Canada?

You can keep it even after moving to Canada.
