In Ontario, does the pregnant woman have to pay for tests in the first 3 months?

Our application recently got approved, and my wife just found out that she's pregnant, we are settling in Toronto.
so do we have to pay for pregnancy related tests in the first 3 months? How much would that be? Any with the same situation?
Thanks in advance!/

You would have to pay from your pocket until you are eligible for OHIP. Look at insurance options.

There is no such insurance product that will pay for routine pregnancy related care or tests, if one is already pregnant.

During 3 months waiting period all medical costs will be paid by you, out of pocket.

You can try to find a midwife to take her on as a client, as they should be free even to those without OHIP. So costs will be greatly reduced.
