IMM0008 Question3

Hello!

It's so awesome to see people from different countries collaborating and helping each other out! I have been filling out the forms and even though I read the guide I am a little confused about question number 3.

I am Canadian and have a daughter who has a Canadian passport. Married to an American.

For question #3 where it asks "How many family members, including you, are in this application" does it mean application as in IMM0008 or the whole immigration application? If both myself and daughter are Canadian and don't need PR do we just put a "1" there for my wife or wold it be "3"

Just put "1" as your wife is the Principal Applicant and I assume no dependent (child of her own).

I got a correction from Immigration office on that...sponsor is also considered a member on this application, therefore in my case there are 2, me as a sponsor and my husband as an applicant

I have seen this question asked again and again (and i still question it myself!) but if its just you and your sponsor it's 1.

In the guide for question 3 it clearly says do not include the sponsor or family members that are already permanent residents or Canadian Citizens. Individuals that will not be included in the undertaking should not be included in this total.
