How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

CPP-O has received my passport on Oct 23rd. It started to track on Nov 19th. I have received it today.

Congratulations! I have no idea how the visa stamping works. They received my pp October 18 and haven't received it until now

That was also their response to me that I am pretty sure a generic answer to all applicants who emailed them. When they did received your passport?

I got passport request on October 1 but only got to send it on November 5 since I went on a trip and had to use my passport. I know, it's just been 2 weeks, but I'm thankful I decided to wait until my trip before sending our passports in since it seems to take soooo long! They also sent the email at 7pm pacific time, so that's 10pm eastern time. Weird eh?

Its been a month now since my Paasport was received at CPP-O. Tracker still not activated.

Sent my passports to cpp-ottawa on 25 october.....included return xpresspost envelope too, gotta mail from them that they sent back my passport on 12 th nov.........its been 10 days i havnt recieved it back.....plz suggest something.

Hi Did you check your tracking number if its activated? Did you just received an email that they sent your passport back to you? Regarding this matter to all who got their passport back, Is CIC usually inform the applicants that they already sent the passport? Whats your experiences to this situation guys?

i don't think CIC will notify you via email after sending the passport back. But in my case, i emailed them after i saw my tracker activated, so they replied back saying yes we did send it back to you.

so you can try emailing CIC. Also i know for some people who got delayed, they approached MP of their region and they approached CIC via MP and got it back right away.

Yes I am sure. I emailed them. They responded that they have our passports and it is in queue

I sent my passport on Oct 18th too.. 6 weeks!! ..How much longer? What if its an emergency and we need to leave the country? This is ridiculous..
