Hi all,

My application has been received on 25th June 2013 (According to my courier tracking status). Do CIC inform me anything like that they have received my package? Or i have to wait 1.5-2 months to get a final response from them.

One more thing, May i know from my Bank whether CIC taken money from my DD or not? If yes then may i know from my bank as soon as CIC charged?

@ dele21 - You can make any amendment to your application only once you receive your UCI to quote with. Once you have a client ID, you can submit a formal request with CIC to transfer your file to your country of residence VO clearly stating the reason for the same. You must get an acknowledge from them.

Can i make such request to CIC in canada before they send out my file/application to the VO? So that my file can go straight to my country VO as against the london VO? What do you think ?

As per the trend, you must wait for X+50 days to expect any news regarding a remittance from your Bank towards CIC, where X is the date of stamping in CIC. CIC would not inform any receipt of application but your courier company will.

I ask for a favor in return! Kindly provide your details for the spreadsheet. Roll back a few pages and you'll see how ppl provide details in green colored fonts.

Yes, some of them would be in the count of 65, not all! I'm sure the figure was not the actual count even on the date of update i.e., 24-June. The number 65 included some of our forum-ers like you named and the rest from rest of the world; you never know how many.

@ dele21 - Nothing could possibly be better than that. Timing is critical here. I w'ld recommend filing a request as soon as you have your UCI so that your file's destination is altered immediately thereby saving you and VOs of painful efforts afterwards.

There could be one more thing, I'm anticipating, about ECAS. I haven't had an opportunity to use it but this is where one sees everything related to one's application and is also a place to put various types of requests, with change of VO as one of those. Just my thoughts. Need someone who could validate this.

Once u have selected visa office at initial application, ur case will be transferred to that respective visa office

Next time when u send full documents (all original ones), at that time also u cannot change visa office. For example they will ask u to submit full documents to london office and then u cannot change to New delhi or singapore office with all documents lying at london office

Hi 1978bunbun.. can you check your txns and give us the name of the Deductor.. meaning is is CIC Canada or any other name (please mention the exact name if possible) to help us issue a standing instruction to our CC company on the upcoming expected transaction.....

Yes, my case was transferred from London to Paris office due to high workload at London office.

London office themselves transferred the case (no request from my side)

Hello,
Please i have a question. Regarding an application i recently made. I have resided in UK for 4yrs and my visa ran out, but i applied for an extension to the ukba before my visa ran out. So while UKBA was still making decision on my case, I applied for the Canada fsw in May 2013. Now am about to leave the UK back to my country of nationality, How can i possibly transfer my file to the visa office responsible for my country. Although CIC at Scotia nova is yet to charge my application fee which am expecting them to do soon.
My main concern is if its possible to request for the transfer of my file to my country's VO as against the london VO which i indicated in my form. If it's possible, how do i attain this.

To the best of my knowledge, you can't change anything until they accept your app, charge you and give you a UCI. Now, at that point, they will most likely already send your papers to London VO, so if you change - the London will have to send to your original VO... Do they do that, how long does it take - I have no idea.

Note: u will be able to see application status once u get the file number from CIC

E-case basically give u status of "in process", " Decision Made"

In process mean ur application is under process such verification of documents, additional requirement,etc

"Decision Made" means either u will get. Passport request (PPR) or visa is stamped or ur application is rejected

Pls note "Decision Made" before Medical is rejection except there is system error in E-case
