FBI US PCC misplaced or lost in mail

What happens if the FBI US PCC gets misplaced in mail and doesn't get delivered to your address in the U.S.? Does FBI reissue the identity history summary check or do they require us to re-send new fingerprints and do the entire process again?

You will need to resend new prints and start over again. It's advisable to send in more than 1 request each time, so such unlucky event will not happen.

I sent 2 requests on the same date. Both were processed and mailed to my U.S. address on September 11, 2017, but I still haven't received them.

I've heard of people getting reissued/reprinted ones due to name misspellings so hopefully they can just reprint and resend yours, but you'll have to call and find out for sure.

I had this happen to me some time last year and after calling them they reissued a new one without me having to send new prints or anything again. Hopefully they are still doing that these days.

They'll ask you to wait for 3 weeks for a US delivery address and 4 weeks for an international delivery address. After 3 weeks, you can ask them to resend a copy of the PCC.

You will need to resend new prints and start over again. It's advisable to send in more than 1 request each time, so such unlucky event will not happen.
