I'm currrently on closed wp valid till Feb 2018 and working for my employe and last working day is 15th sep 2017. And here with spouse (she got her dependant visitor record, which is valid till my cwp expiry date).
Situation here is I don't want to windup things right away from Canada and due to some medical treatments as well which I don't want to discontinue. Also let you know I'm in plan of applying for PR.
1). I want stay here in Canada even after last working day with my employer. Am I allowed to stay along with my spouse ? With out working?
2). I understand I will loose my insurance coverage and all. But I hope I will Ohip coverage.
3). As I can't work for any where as it is closed work permit, what options I can go for? Apply open wp? Please suggest.
4). Can I apply for open wp for my spouse at this point of time ? My closed wp valid till feb 2018. My last working day this week.
5). Do I need contact any one and put a letter stating about (1).
