you have three options

1)PEQ (best option but must wait next october) : if you are currently employed, if you have held a skilled job in Québec for at least 12 of the last 24 months and if you have a knowledge of spoken French (you already have), then you can have CSQ within one month after apply.

you don't need validated offer, we doing this step if we don't have enough points (in my case i didn't have any point for french).

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/EN/immigrate-settle/temporary-workers/stay-quebec/application-csq/workers-peq/index.html

2)apply under regular program with validated offer, maybe you can have CSQ in 6 months (priority processing)

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/EN/immigrate-settle/temporary-workers/stay-quebec/application-csq/workers-quebec/index.html

3)apply without validated offer: if you have enough points then you can apply without it but you will wait around 1 year for CSQ.

I live in Alberta Calgary so im not in Quebec at the moment...Validated job offer gives more points thats why without job offer i have 46points so i need still 3 points and since there is a hotel willing to hire me thats why i want to give a try they send me Job offer contract but they are not sure to go to next step and validate it if they have to wait for longtime...so you are saying with Job offer CSQ takes 6 months quite longtime.

From your experience how long it took for you to validate the Job offer and it was for which position ?

Did you get the Job offer directly with the company or from an agency ?
because until now i cant find a company that can wait for me for the process.

my case was fast took 3 weeks, and i asked my employer to help me to do this step.

your future employer doesn't need to wait for PR process, you can start with them now after you have new work permit.
the same case like mine.

In your current situation, the hotel would have to apply for a regular LMIA to employ you. The exemptions to the LMIA requirements for CSQ holders are listed here:

Validated offer is something else than work permit, two different processes.

you can apply for work permit (LMO+CAQ+work permit) on the same time as validated offer.

validated offer process could take 1 month
work permit process could take 3-4 months

I just want to ask if we need to take french exam or not in regular program? We do not have french knowledge and my husband got a job offer with CAQ and LMIA. We are currently waiting for our work permits. Mine is owp.

I am thinking if we could apply immediately for CSQ under regular program without french once we have the work permits. Is it possible? the PEQ will take so long as my husband needs to work for 1 year and also need french exam. I am not sure if he can get B2 results in french in 1 year studying.

We would like to know the best and fastest way to get CSQ then QSW regarding our situation. Hope you can help us. Thanks.

French test is not a must but french knowledge is a big asset for Quebec.

planazur, LIMA or CAQ is government process, your employer has to do it to hire you , your employer can hire attorney to finalize this process.

Hello Friends
I have applied for QSW in May 2014 and received file number on Aug 2014.
I have not received any communication from immigration yet.
My challenge is that I do not know french and I want to go for employment validation letter as I am currently working in Quebec on work permit.

Could anyone of you please help me the process of getting this letter? Could one of you please share sample filled letter , I would really appreciate please?

Also from previous thread I understand there is one PDF file in french that has to be filled, but is there any additional documentation to PDF that is required to be submitted along with PDF? Please help ....

Hello guys, I am working for a call center in Montreal for 6 months, will I have to submit the job validation for applying CSQ right at this moment?
