recently My friend has been asked by cra to fill out the NR73 form to determine the status, eventhough he is not living in country from last few years. He is working and paying in taxes in U.S but they had asked to pay taxes in canada on the income in U.S since they do not have exact date in their system when he left the country. So they asked him to fill NR73 form to determine the status.
He is filling the form now. But he has some questions: Having a corporation in canada will effect the status?
