I have been trying to land a job offer from Canadian employers. I have 7 work experience as software engineer in my country + some 2-3 experience as remote gigs. I also did 10+ interviews with a potential employers, they were really satisfied with me(as they told me), but they have to move on from because i don't have any Canadian experience. I don't understand any of this

They also mention that they need people with know how to write code, and blah blah, but they won't consider me for sponsorship. And i am 33 years old.

I am not sure if this is age discrimination or what.

Hi,

Are you physically in Canada? If not, I have come to learn that employers will very rarely give a job offer to someone who is not in the country, even for an in-demand field like software engineering that is LMIA exempt. Employers still have to jump through a few hoops to be able to process a work permit for you.
