Hello all,

My wife and I married on June 7th 2017 and have followed all steps up to this point as far as immigration purpose goes. At this point we are waiting for medical request and OWP. My question is, can my wife return to the USA for 3 weeks or is that a mistake? She has a passport. If there is any risk we will not do it. This is not something that has to happen but would be nice if it could happen. Thank you in advance for your help.

It's not clear how you have applied. If you are Canadian and sponsored your wife for PR, then yes - there is always some risk in leaving and she shouldn't leave for too long. Chances are very high she will be allowed back in. But always some chance she won't be in which case you'd need to start the process again from scratch outland.
