I have been employed in the public sector for the last 8 years. I now want to leave that position and become fully self-employed. I was admitted under the Provincial Nominee program in NB. I intend to stay in NB while self-employed. I have been a permanent resident for 3 years and intend to pursue citizenship. Can I be self-employed while living under Permanent Resident status?

Yes, you definitely can. There are no restrictions on what you can and can't do once you become a PR. You have virtually the same rights as a citizen for matters such as employment.
