Hey jes_ON,
I've been working for my employer (full time) for the past 8 years (1 year and 10 months in Canada). I am on closed work permit (ICT - intra company transfer) and that is LMIA exempt. My NOC - 2173

Since you have been working for your employer in Canada for at least one year, and you are on an ICT, then you could possibly qualify for the 50 points. But you would need job offer letter from your employer to include with your application (this is different from the reference letter that describes your past/completed experience).

The job offer letter has to describe the job offered to you in the future, and indicate that the employment will be for at least one year after the date you become a permanent resident.

I have submitted my application and got AOR.

I applied under cec class without pnp. I am planning to push my manager for one more month and apply open work permit, but it is possible that I might have to leave before I got a decision on my open work permit. What should I do now? Apply open work permit and possibly go back to India while PR is processing?

You know what your options are, none of us know your situation. If you can afford to stay without working, you can resign; that is your decision. If you want to continue working for the company while waiting for your PR application, then you will likely have to go back. Again, your decision.
