Hi. I'm Aldo from Greece. My wife is from India & I have a daughter 1year & half. 2014 from my work place they left me showing me the reason of economic crisis. After that I started my won little business. For the high rate of Tax & Economical crisis I'm getting hard to keep continuing my business & living cost with my family here. Can I apply as an asylum seeker with my family in Canada. Please share your opinions. Thanks.

No, zero chance. Economic reasons are not suitable to claim asylum.

Agreed with the above. You don't meet the requirements of the refugee program and will be refused if you apply. Wanting to move to Canada for economic reasons is not an accepted reason to claim refugee status. I would recommend you look into Canada's economic immigration programs. Start with Express Entry. You can find the detailed information here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

Thanks Rob & Scylla. I'm actually searching which will be better way for me to work there. I'm not much educated. So I found I can visit there 3/6 months as a visitor, & a 6 months working holiday visa. If there have some other way KINDLY share me. :)

The problem with the Working Holiday Visa is that it doesn't allow you to bring your family with you. So be aware of that if you apply to go this route.

Yeh. And besides I need a minimum 9 months or 1 year working experience in a province where allows semi-skilled. where there's only 6 months.
