I need your advice, my common-law partner and I are about to apply for PR as the family class with an open work permit.
My status in Canada right now is Visitor living in Quebec, and while waiting for the process, I'd like to work but I heard that I need to apply CSQ to get the OWP to work in Quebec, but I'm not sure which comes first.
So here are my questions:
Do I just need to include the application for OWP with the docs for common-law? Or
Do I need to apply CSQ first, then I can send the application for OWP with the docs?
What's gonna happen if I’m not eligible for CSQ, Do i have to wait until the next year as there is the maximum number to apply for it?
I just finished my IEC this June, so it would've been if I'm done this while I was holding the work permit but now I don't have it anymore.
I would be appreciated If someone knows about these kinds of situation.
