Hello. I’m an American citizen from New Jersey and i have been staying with my girlfriend since April 1st 2017. So October 1st 2017 would have been 6 months. The reason I came here was to stay with my girlfriend (obviously) but to visit some Colleges and do some tours of schools. I found a college/program I am interested in, and I Have been accepted and I paid my first year tuition fees in full. I applied to extend my stay here in Canada 30 days before my visitor status expired and I have been on implied status for about 2 weeks now. I will be going to the border of niagra falls and buffalo New York to apply for a study permit.
When I arrive at the border should I bring my receipt that I paid for the application? Also I have a letter from CIC stating they received my application with the date and everything. Does anyone think I’d have a problem?
