Apply for Canadian citizenship with indian passport validity about to expire

Need your help with this query.

So my query is that the year when i am becoming eligible for applying for Canadian citizenship is the same year when my Indian passport is also expiring (just one month difference).

so do i have to apply for re-issue of Indian passport first before applying for Canadian citizenship
