110V works in Canada....but if you are referring to your laptop and mobile charger, they have a range of 110-250V, they will work without any problem


But you should first check the chargers for rating and then use them.....

Now that my academic term is fast approaching and I still didnt get my stamped ppt back from CHC, I want the seniors to suggest whether I should book an airline ticket, if I find, to be on the safe side? Furthermore, I talked to few travel agents in lahore, there is hardly any ticket available for from Lhr to ON. Please also suggest me what to do in the present circumstances. Your sugestions will be highly appreciated.

A lot of friends on this forum (mfm, hassan) have booked their tickets in advance. It is advised to book it now as you won't find seats at later dates for sure.

You should consult the cancellation policy of the ticket, The charges may be less than 10k which is quite reasonable. Check tickets with travel agents from Karachi as well.

Anticipate a date for ur visa arrival and then book the ticket (visa often arrives one month after the medical) Even the agents nowadays know that everyone's classes are starting from the 4th of Sep! after that numerous amount of seats are available....

Cancellation charges are about 6000 PKR and re-scheduling charges are 4000 PKR for most airlines.....i don't think making a gamble of 5-6000 PKR is a bad idea rather than not getting tickets at all!

If you are going to Toronto, go for PIA (availability + luggage allowance is very good)

My friend in Canada specially requested me for Pakistani Flag, he said he sometimes required it. Just wanted to let you know guys if anyone plan to take 1 from here.
