I am new here,.. i applied for a TRV on 11th July, and haven't heard anything so far from them. So its like already 51 days.
I wanted to know, if previous travels really matter, because i see many here who have a travel history, they are refused and told you don't have any travel history. That's a bit discouraging. And one more thing, is it the Consulate that decides how many months or years of visa you should get? because i don't remember mentioning anything like that.
Thanks.

HI. What does it means "family ties in Pakistan & Canada"?
AOA Hassan,

Family ties in home country means that you have very close relatives in your home country and you are dependent on them and vice versa. For instance, if you are single then your siblings/your parents will be strong ties for you and if you are married then your wife/kids would consider strong ties.

As far as family ties in host country is concerned, your close relatives like your siblings, parents, grandparents, uncle, aunt, couzin etc will be called strong ties.

So If i have my parents are there in Canada as permanent resident so is it a positive thing or negative? I also have my wife & 3 kids in Pakistan.
