Advise how to get UAE Good Conduct Certificate (Police Clearance Certificate)

To all who wants to apply PCC or Good Conduct Certificate from UAE better to have a friend from Dubai or anywhere in UAE. It will take forever to process your police certificate request thru courier (for real). What happened to me, I sent an applications March 14, 2012 thru courier they received it March 18 based on Fedex Tracking Number. I tried to call them several times but they always say the processing time is 2-3 weeks. After 1.5 months I tried to call them again I spoke to Mr. Rasaq then he told me to send somebody or a friend maybe to get the Good Conduct Certificate from their office. I asked one of my friend from Diera to sort it out, she went today as early as 7am and spoke to Mr. Rasaq but unfortunately they din't provide the Good Conduct Certificate as they lost all the files that we sent thru Fedex even the Money Order that I made to pay Fedex for return airway bill. What pisses me off is it took almost 2 months to wait for PCC then I just asked somebody to go there which is very incovenient for my friend coz she has also work at 9am, then WHAT THE H**L? They just told me & my friend that they lost my file? Now what? They want us to provide another pictures & my poor friend need to wake up early (again) at 5am to go there before 7:30am and rush to go to work at 9am. Is that very convenient?

A PIECE OF ADVICE, DON'T APPLY TO DUBAI POLICE HEADQUARTERS, APPLY ANYWHERE ELSE IN UAE. BEWARE TO MR. RASAQ & MR. BASHIR, THEY WILL PUT YOU ON-HOLD ON THE PHONE OR THEY WILL ALWAYS TELL YOU "YOUR APPLICATIONS IS ON PROCESS" WHICH IS NOT TRUE, THEY JUST PROMISE YOU THAT YOU'RE APPLICATION IS ON PROCESS WHICH WILL TAKE FOREVER!!!!

One question I have about obtaining PCC from Dubai...

As part of obtaining the PCC, one needs to provide for a requisition letter from the Canadian embassy. How can that be obtained? Is it a letter that is provided after the PR application form has been submitted or do we need to send across a separate request for this?

To get a PCC from Dubai Police if you are already outside Dubai, you have to send them the ff:

1. Photocopy of the current and old passport showing complete particulars including UAE residence visa pages .
2. 2 passport size pictures.
3. Record of applicants complete fingerprints, taken by a Government Agency and Attested by the UAE Embassy.
4. Bank draft of US$35 or 110 dirhams favoring Dubai Police General H/Q , as the good conduct certificate fee.

6. Return airway bill for your application if your outside UAE.

But if I were you try to apply from other Police Headquarters in UAE, you can check here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/mid-east/united-arab-emirates.asp What happened in my applications it took 2 months to get my PCC, they lost my files, pictures, forms and even the money order to pay Fedex for return airway bill they lost it. I tried to ask a favor from my friend in Dubai & that's the time they processed my applications not knowing that they lost everything. So I send all the requirements again. I applied March 18 my friend from Dubai got it May 18 after 4 times going there in Police HQ. It's really better if you know somebody from UAE to apply it on your behalf provided that you send all the requirements. Good Luck

That is because you have a friend from Dubai who submitted your applications on your behalf.

I need a police clearance for my Father who was in Sharjah at 1980-1982.Can some one explains how to get PCC for him as there was no emirates ID card nor any finger prints in that particular period of time

Hi,

I worked in UAE 4 years ago. And in case of ITA, I will be requiring SHARJAH PCC. And I just checked on google that they mention Profession on PCC. Visa issued to me shows a different profession than the one I worked in. My occupation is different than the one mentioned on my visa.
Will this be a problem?
What can be the solution of this problem?

I'm from the philippines and I have a friend in the UAE... My question is ... I lived for 6months and 1week at the Abu Dhabi but my friends are from sharjah and rams can I ask them to get the police clearance in that emirate?
