401K Withdrawl from USA

Hello,
I am withdrawing my 401k from USA. There's a federal requirement that my spouse has to sign the waiver form and get it notarized, and it has to be someone who's authorized in USA. Looks like TD bank has no such service and my only option left is to go to US embassy. When I called US embassy they asked me to email and did not receive a proper response from them. I would like to know if there are any US authorized notary in GTA / Toronto Area? I need this urgently. Any help or guidance is much appreciated.

Did you guys managed to withdraw 401?? I am in the same situation.

Nope they didn’t allow me to withdraw since I was moving to Canada but was with same company. You can withdraw only when you resign the job it seems.

I have a 2017 Nissan pathfinder which costed me 28.5K from CarMax on Dec, 2018. Now CarMax quotes the price as 20K. And I have loan of 18.5K from credit union. Wondering the pros and cons of shipping the car to Quebec or selling the car here.

How was your car moving experience?

There will be no issues if you have paid off and have original title. If not you need additional docs to register you car. Shipping was easy via aa autotransport. If you can by all means bring your car. Depending on if u r here on work permit or PR the import process changes.
