We sent our application in back in July and finally last week got the Visa. Most painful part of the process was waiting and second guessing whether the forms were complete and historic enough. I guess that goes for everyone.  Smiley

If I had got the passport about a week earlier, I could have, it will now be the beginning of January, so not too long. Smiley

Congrats to everyone who got their PR and landed safely in Canada  Cheesy

I was just wondering...

I had my PR status changed (on E-CAS) to Decision Made on December 10th, 2009. It is now December 21st, 2009 and I still not have heard anything from Buffalo. Should I call the Buffalo Visa Office? Email? Wait? I am getting sooooo impatient...

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Artymow

P.S. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all! Smiley

yes, it would be a good point trying to contact them - there were some cases when passports request letter was lost in mail/ this way you will know for sure.
happy holidays!

Buffalo sends their passport request by email and then by postal mail, so it's unlikely that they both got lost, but feel free to inquire with them. Since the decision has already been made your inquiry will not have any negative effect.

Much of the process details are now vague to me (TGFT), but is it not the case that Buffalo only uses email to contact you if you have used email to contact them (like to change address or something)?

Artymow, you may want to review your junk mail folder. I almost threw away that email Buffalo sent me because neither the address nor the subject were recognizable as pertaining to immigration. Also, the email came BEFORE e-cas was updated to decision made, but the postal mail letter came much later.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for all your help.

I definitely paid attention to my e-mail INBOX and JUNK and there was no email regarding a PPR.

I've been checking the postal mail and nothing...I wrote them and inquiry email...I tried to call the BUFFALO office, however, they do not answer phone inquiry's.

Is there any other number to call?

I called : 17168589501 (It is only a machine talking)
I called : 17168589500 (Apparently it's closed)

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Artymow
