It's so unusual that ur wife's application status is not visible in ECAS.. Have u tried refreshing the page, delete all the cookies and history..

Use ur wife's immigration number, her last name as indicated in the forms submitted, dob, ang place of birth..

If still doesn't work, try the FAQ portion about ECAS. Im not sure what other remedies I can suggest. Let's wait for others who come from buffalo.. It seems that ur wife is good to go as I heard buffalo office moves faster than Manila especially after PPR...

Hello everyone,

May I know who else is applying for Quebec immigration? Does anyone know how long does it take for MICC to approve the sponsorship undertaking & issue Quebec Selection Certificate? Understand that Federal Government would only start processing the visa once MICC made the decision. Our sponsorship application was approved by CIC-M within 30 days. Waiting patiently for the next stage.

Many thanks for your reply.

Ahh, change of status in E-CAS today. Now reads IN PROCESS under the Permanent Residence Application Status column. Clicking on reveals:

We started processing ************ application on September 15, 2009.

Medical results have been received.

We have movement!

Hi folks...

We are on the leading edge of this group and I just learned through Ecas that our application was sent from the Buffalo office to the Los Angeles visa office on September 16.  I have been led to believe this is usually done to "expedite" processing, but would rather have stayed with Buffalo since we could have hand-carried my wife's passport directly to that office.  Any thoughts on this latest development?

Heleina,
I was able to logon today. It seems to me that when you get an AoR, you still cannot logon to eCAS until they start processing. They started the processing in my case on Sep 14.

My spouse's e-cas has changed to In process today, September 21, 2009.
The message reads as "we have started  processing XYZ's permanent residence application on September 14, 2009.
Her application is in Singapore now.

The applicants whose file is in Singapore, can you see medical received once you click In process? I am just seeing the above message for the time being.

Thank you.

I am a U.S. citizen, and my husband is a naturalized Canadian citizen.  We currently live in the U.S. and would like to immigrate to Quebec.  My application for a permanent resident visa is to be processed outside Canada.  We sent in the application on August 18.  It arrived at CPC-M on August 20.  As of September 22 we are still waiting for a response.

There have been so many adventures already in this process that I decided to start a blog about it.  Just in case any of you are interested: http://uscitizenmovestocanada.blogspot.com

Looking forward to hearing more about everyone's experiences!

delhi is one of the fastest offices which process the visa application.. check your ECAS from time to time.. 1 week after you've been approved they will start processing the principal applicant's application.. a week after that she'll receive the AOR. just hang in there.. you'll reach that part in no time..

Heleine,
I'm really impressed with your timeline, looks like you've done a very good job during the submission. Really hoping that you will receive your passport with the visa stamped on it! Good luck!:)

Hi ecs. My application is handled by the Manila, Philippines office. I know they move too fast. The waiting game starts after submitting the passport. Usually it will take 20-90 days before they give back to me my passport with visa.

Hi showell. Thank you. Yes, my husband and I shed too much effort just to perfect the requirements and forms. When I send to him the part 2 & 3 together with the documents listed in the checklist, he double checked it also to make sure I didn't miss out anything.

Let's put our hopes high.. Be positive!

Those applicants whose spousal sponsorship has been forwarded to Singapore, can you see the medical has been received message in e-cas? Or only you can see that the application has bee started processing message?

Thank you.
