Jianadaren....thank you, Im hoping its real soon too!

Wed. will make 10 weeks since our medical re do. In process since April..what are they doing over there? Lol

Hi Can4Vincy,

it took them 7 weeks after 2nd medicals were received to make a decision and request passport. I guess they would take longer if not us contacting MP again. maybe it's time for you to contact them or your MP as well? think about it.
hope this helps Smiley

We have been dealing with our MP's office for about 6 weeks now and all we know is that its background checks holding us up. It really seems unfair at this point and looking like he'll be away for the second xmas now!! Thanks for the suggestion though.

To close our loop, my spouse landed on December 31st.  Two things of note; they extended the medical validity to 2 years as we were well past the first year; on landing no one cared about the accompanying goods list or goods to follow list (not a concern as there was much on them, but they were never even looked at).
I'm sure the medical was extended because it was taken in Canada and we remained in Canada through out the application.

Good luck to all those still waiting.
