That's what's got me worrying too. My husband sent his passport via lbc but lost his receipt so I have no knowledge whether or not the embassy received it yet. I told him to go back to lbc and ask if he could ask even for just the tracking # so as to ease my mind a little..

Finally able to access Ecas

Received Application Sep 23
Decision Made Nov 02

Now we're just waiting for the letter to say what the decision was lol.  I'm gonna be a a total stress bucket during this whole process.  Kingston is about 15 months for processing, here's praying for something faster.

   Just to update our situation , Manila has started our application .
Additional information needed .
Medical has been received and okay .
Pass port has been asked for .

My spouse was in Turkey and Thailand teaching English .Immigration wants Police clearances from both countries .

One small delay , atleast they are processing our application .

i sent it thru drop box...i just hope the embassy received it already...just praying it won't get lost on the way if 4 months will take for us to wait...

wheeeee, sponsorship application approved!

They've forwarded the application package to Singapore... now we just have to wait for that...

It's going to get tricky for us, because my wife is pregnant and the due date is in about 5 months. We'll probably end up having the baby here in Thailand, but then paperwork will need to be done for him/her... man, I can't wait for all this paperwork stuff to be finished!

Praise God ! Our stage one is thru. Got the letter on 29th Oct. The application is sent to New Delhi for further processing.

Thanks for all you support and encouragement.

By the way what's the average time in stage 2.

For your office it is 6 months to process 80% of the applications (one of the fastest offices!).  You can expect that it will take anywhere from 2-6 months at that office.  For instance our office, Moscow, is 8 months for 80% and we are expecting 4 months as lots of pre-applicants got accepted within that timing.

Note: The specified timing for each office starts AFTER sponsorship approval.  So they are saying 80% of applicants get accepted within 7.5months for you (42 days for sponsorship, in our case less than 30).

Finally! Our application was received october 5th, i don't know why it took so long to get to mississauga, but we were able to log into e-cas and have decision made.the letter was sent on november 3rd. i hope its good news! good luck to everyone!

Dear fellow aspirants,

Just to check everyone got the same letter. We received a 3 pager letter.

Page 1 has Client # XXXXX and KIT ID XXXXX and says we are pleased to .....
Page 2 has the sponsor obligations, that he/she must support the sponsored person
Page 3 is continuation to page 2 and has reference to form 1344B, fees etc.

Hope everyone got something similiar ......
