Good idea. I'll just give my timelines below.
April 12, 2010 - Application was received in Mississauga.
May 17, 2010 - The Sponsorship application was approved and the file sent to Brazil for processing
July 7, 2010 - My wife recieved a letter from Brazil office that her PR application was recieved May 26, 2010 and is being processed
July 23, 2010 - Brazil office sent letter asking for wife's passport to issue the Visa

That sounds so great! I can only hope ours moves along as quickly If you don't mind, what is the nationality of your spouse? My husband is a dual citizen...he is a Brazilian citizen now, but of Nigerian heritage. |

Out of Sao Paulo also.... Documents were requested on June 8th in regards to my wife's son..., went to the embassy and gave it to them on june 24th. Still waiting....  |

Yes flying and hotel in Sao Paulo she is from Joao Pessoa.And taxis as i dont want her roaming around Sao Paulo byherself not the safest place for that.
