Hi everybody! In case some people would be interested in losing a bit less time..lol I just called at Immigration Quebec to ask about the email.. and she said that we dont need to wait for the letter from CIC and we can just print out the email and its good too! (1 week more in our pocket!) Hahaa  |

When you will receive the letter from Mississauga Ontarion approving of your sponsrship,you will be asked to fill papers and forward them to the Immigration Quebec,with fees of 250(dont remember exactly but its around that amount) for the certificate of selection that you will have to send to your spouse,so she can show the visa office when called to meet them or for interview,make sure you send the original one.Good luck

Im sponsoring my husband for Quebec too.
The embassy asked for the passport and others documents in febuary 21th, we sent it on april 6th and now we are waiting for the PPR.

tatto.. we apply dec 3 for canada jan 25 permanent recived medecal recived jan 12,2011 we apprved from quebec and forwarded to manila embassy now wiatng for the visa

My Canadian husband is sponsoring me from the US where we both live. I just received my CSQ this weekend and am hoping that moves the PR application process along.

I dropped my CSQ in Mtl yesterday! (i was alone in the office.. loll) Now my step 1b is starting.. lol!
I was checking things and im wondering if it takes more time for us going through Qc as well.. i mean for the same visa office and the same dates as someone living somewhere else in Canada.. Could you guys put the dates you received the AOR from the VO if you did? im wondering..... haha! Time is killing my brain..

Sure it is..! I wrote it in this thread too on top of page 2.. and yes, it was accepted. Since Canada Post is going on strike maybe/we don't know when, i didnt feel like waiting forever for the letter and called to MICC and they said to bring the email. |

yeah we printed the letter from the email and handed it in in Montreal and the lady checked everything and said the print off was fine. We actually never received a letter from Mississauga just the email.
